CDC United Network will be presenting at Mip-TV the successful 3D Animated Feature Film “Around the World in 50 Years: Sammy’s Adventures 3D”
Brussels, 8th March 2010 – CDC United Network will continue to offer at Mip-TV, “Around The World: Sammy’s Adventures”, an amazing 3D animated feature film which was a huge success at the last NATPE.
Launched in Las Vegas, “Around The World in 50 Years” impressed all the buyers from the industry for its exceptional production values, vivid colors, great storylines breakthrough 3D animation. Directed by Ben Stassen, “Around The World in 50 Years” follows the adventures of Sammy, a sea turtle, who crosses the oceans in search of Shelly, the love of his life. Funny and engaging, the movie is accessible to the entire family and has been described as “Finding Nemo” for the next generation. The worldwide release will be towards the second half of 2010.
CDC United Network will also present “Frozen” which was theatrically released last month in United States and received excellent reviews. This thriller follows three skiers who are stranded on a chairlift. They will be forced to make life-or-death choices that prove more perilous than staying put and freezing to death.
At Mip-TV, CDC will also be presenting “I Hate Valentine’s Day” with NIA VARDALOS and JOHN CORBETT (“My Big Fat Greek Wedding”). In this Romantic Comedy, a florist tries to convince a restaurant owner to date her without the fear of it becoming a full-fledged relationship.
Other new titles from CDC will be a reinvention of the original Oscar®-winning hit film, "Fame" which follows a talented group of dancers, singers, actors, and artists over four years at the New York City High School of Performing Arts. The cast includes Kelsey Grammer and Debbie Allen.
CDC will also present their breathtaking new action title “Kill Speed”, a high-octane, "Top Gun" meets "Fast & Furious" tale about best friends who fly high-tech planes to deliver Mexican-manufactured, crystal-meth between United States and Mexican border in order to fund their Hollywood lifestyle.
Also on offer will be new family titles such as “Lemo” which follows the adventures of four friends who discover a mysterious village where the residents keep falling asleep, and “Nic and Tristan”, a tale of two skateboarding twins who’s plan to compete in a skate Competition is smashed when their parents leave town and stick them with a babysitter.
CDC United Network will be attending the booth 04.14-06.13.
